Terms of Use

1. Nature of the service

Vedik calculates the chart with the KP system (Krishnamurti Paddhati) from the date, time and city of birth, and uses artificial intelligence to explain the result. Readings show what the chart indicates and the window of weeks to months in which a matter tends to happen. They do not guarantee that an event will happen or its exact date, and AI-generated text may contain errors. Every chart requires the date, time and city of birth, including the other person's in a combination, and a wrong time changes the result. Nothing on Vedik is medical, psychological, legal or financial professional advice.

2. Minimum age

Vedik is intended exclusively for people 18 (eighteen) years of age or older. By creating an account, you declare that you are 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from children or teenagers; if we identify an account belonging to a minor, it will be closed and the data deleted.

3. Mental health and crisis situations

If you are experiencing emotional distress, a crisis, or thoughts of self-harm, please seek immediate help: in Brazil, call CVV: 188 (Centro de Valorização da Vida), free, confidential, 24/7. Outside Brazil, contact your local emergency or crisis line. Vedik is not a psychological support service and does not replace professional mental health care.

4. Plans, one-off purchases and payments

Paid plans (Insight and Master) are billed via Stripe, with monthly or annual renewal depending on the billing cycle chosen at signup. On the annual plan, the credits for all 12 months are made available at the time of purchase. Vedik runs on credits: each chat question uses 1 credit, an extra birth chart uses 4 credits, and a combination (romantic or business), which reads the relationship between your chart and another person's, uses 10 credits. Anything beyond what your plan includes is debited from your balance. You can also buy one-off credits without a subscription, choosing the amount to pay (from R$ 15, shown before payment). One-off credits and subscription credits never expire and accumulate in your balance. Displayed prices already include all applicable taxes. The Basic plan is free and includes welcome credits.

5. Right of withdrawal (Brazilian Consumer Code, art. 49)

Under the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code (Law 8,078/1990, art. 49), you have the right to withdraw from any purchase made at a distance within 7 (seven) calendar days of the purchase date, with no need to give a reason. To exercise this right, send an email to contato@vedik.com.br with the subject "Arrependimento de compra" (withdrawal request) within the deadline.

Because credits and one-off services become available for use as soon as payment is confirmed (instantly for cards; once it clears for boleto), the refund equals the amount paid minus a proportional deduction for credits already used and services already delivered (combinations and extra charts), calculated at the unit price of that same purchase. Unused credits within the deadline are refunded in full. The refund is processed within 7 business days via Stripe, through the original payment method. Purchases paid by boleto are refunded by bank transfer, to the account you indicate.

The right of withdrawal is meant to let you evaluate the service. Repeated patterns of purchasing, fully consuming credits, and requesting a refund constitute abuse of right (Civil Code art. 187) and may result in future purchases being declined.

6. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time, with no penalty:

1. Go to your Vedik account and open the credits/subscription page
2. Click cancel subscription on your Vedik plan
3. Or request cancellation by email: contato@vedik.com.br

After cancelling, your plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for, then automatically reverts to Basic. Unused credits from paid plans are not refundable (except within the withdrawal period above).

7. Responsible use

You agree to use Vedik responsibly and lawfully. It is prohibited to: use the service for unlawful purposes, attempt to circumvent the credit system, reverse-engineer the service, or use automated means to overload it. Vedik reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with prior notice by email whenever possible. When you add another person's birth data, you declare that you have their permission or a legitimate reason to do so. The reading is for personal use, and using Vedik to expose, monitor or harm someone is prohibited.

8. Limitation of liability

Vedik indicates what the chart shows and in which period, with no guarantee of outcome. Every decision made from a reading is yours. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.

9. Intellectual property

All content on the platform (text, code, the Vedik brand, design, and AI-generated interpretations) is the property of Vedik and protected under Brazilian Law 9,610/1998 (Copyright Law). Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use without express authorization is prohibited.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated periodically. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 10 days in advance. Continued use of the service after that period constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Brazilian law. If you are a consumer, you may bring any action in the courts of your own domicile (Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, art. 101, I). In all other cases, the courts of São Paulo/SP, Brazil are chosen.
