A prediction shows what the method indicates for a period. The decision about what to do with it is still yours. This is Vedik's position: the calculation follows the KP method faithfully, and the last word is always yours.
What the creator of KP thought
K. S. Krishnamurti, who created the KP method, saw astrology as a science. He wrote that it can render a very useful service to all people (KP Reader II, p. 12). And he used an image that helps explain the role of whoever reads a chart. If life is like crossing a river, the astrologer can be compared to an experienced boatman (KP Reader II, p. 27).
The boatman knows the current, knows where the river is shallow and in which stretch the crossing is calmer. The one crossing is you.
KSK also asked the astrologer to tell the truth honestly and state the limitations of what they saw (KP Reader II, p. 6). A good reading shows clearly what the method indicates and where it stops.
KSK had a deterministic view. For him, a correct prediction does not change (KP Reader V, p. 181). Vedik uses his method faithfully in the calculation and takes its own position on the decision. The chart indicates the period. You decide what to do in it.
Prediction as information for deciding
Think of a job offer. The method may indicate that your current period favors starting a new job. That is valuable information. It adds to the salary offered, the kind of team, your stage of life and what you want for the coming years.
The prediction helps you see the terrain. It answers "when" and "what the period favors". The other questions remain on the table:
- What do I truly want from this change?
- What do I gain and what do I leave behind if I accept?
- What would I do if the offer did not exist?
You are the one who answers these questions. The guide how to make difficult decisions goes deeper into this process.
When the reading indicates waiting
A period with no clear signal for a matter is also information. It may indicate that the theme calls for another moment, or that another matter is more active right now.
Waiting is also a choice, and it has a cost. An opportunity can pass and a conversation can be put off. That is why it is worth asking what remains possible while the period does not favor the matter. Sometimes it is preparing the ground: building savings, studying, talking to people who can help. The reading points to the stretch. What you do until then is your decision.
Plan for more than one scenario
A practical way to use a prediction with autonomy is to write down what you would do in each case before the period arrives:
- If the opportunity appears in the indicated stretch.
- If it appears outside it.
- If it does not appear.
This way, your plan does not depend on a single outcome. The prediction comes in as one piece of information and you stay in control of the path.
Keep track of what was predicted
Vedik has a Prediction Diary. It keeps what VedikAI predicted, with the question, the prediction and the period. When the period passes, you say whether it happened, partly happened or did not happen, with a comment if you like.
If the prediction did not come true, that is data. You do not need to look for blame or a moral explanation. Just record it and move on.
This record gives you your own view of how predictions behave in your life. It is yours, and it helps you decide with more information next time. The guide how to check an astrological prediction shows how to do this tracking with method.
Vedik's role
Vedik calculates your chart with the KP engine, Krishnamurti's own ayanamsa and the planetary positions from the Swiss ephemeris. From there, it shows what the method indicates for each matter and in which period, with the "when" in month and year. You can ask VedikAI about work, relationships, home or money and receive the reading of your period.
The method gives the direction. You choose the path.
