ChatGPT writes good scenarios about your future based on what you tell it in the conversation. To say when a matter in your life tends to move, the answer needs a different foundation: a calculation made with your birth data. Both help, each with a different part of the decision.
What a generic chatbot does well
A tool like ChatGPT is great for thinking things through together. It organizes scattered ideas, asks questions you had not asked yet and writes scenarios clearly. In practice, it helps you:
- list the pros and cons of a choice
- lay out two or three possible paths and what each one requires
- rehearse a difficult conversation with your boss or your family
- turn a vague discomfort into a concrete question
All of this comes from what you wrote, plus the general knowledge the tool has. That is why it shines at "what if": if I accept the offer, what changes in my routine? If I wait six months, what do I gain and what do I lose?
Why the answer follows the question
A generic chatbot builds its answer from the conversation. When you ask "will I land a better job in 2027?", it puts together a plausible scenario using your story, your tone and what you said about your field. A hopeful question tends to get an encouraging answer. A fearful question tends to get caution.
That is how the tool works, and knowing this helps you use it better. A good habit is to ask for both sides: first the argument for, then the argument against, with the same criteria.
A prompt that works
If you want to use ChatGPT to organize a decision, try something like this:
"I want to organize a decision. Ask me five questions about what I don't know yet. Then separate the facts I told you from the assumptions. Build a scenario for each choice and tell me what would change each one."
You leave the conversation with a list of what you still need to find out and with the paths laid out side by side. Avoid entering other people's data or intimate details that are not needed. A simplified example is enough for the reasoning.
What changes when there is a calculation behind it
Vedik starts from a different place: the date, time and place of your birth. With them, its own engine calculates the positions of the planets with the Swiss ephemeris and applies the KP method, created by K. S. Krishnamurti, with the same measure of the zodiac he used. This calculation shows which phase of life you are in, when it changes and in which period each matter tends to move.
Only then does VedikAI come in. It writes the answer on top of your chart calculation and translates the result for your question.
| Generic chatbot | Vedik | |
|---|---|---|
| Starting point | What you tell it in the conversation | Your chart, calculated from birth date, time and place |
| What it delivers | Scenarios, lists, organized ideas | Whether the chart shows a path for the matter and in which period it tends to move |
| Answer to "when" | Depends on what you tell it | Month and year, with the start and end of the window |
| Follow-up | You keep the conversation on your own | The Prediction Diary records the prediction and later asks whether it happened |

How to read Vedik's answer
When the chart shows a path for a matter, the answer points to the period in which it tends to move. It is a reading of tendency within a stretch of time. The next step is still yours, and the last word is always yours.
That is why it is worth following up. The Prediction Diary keeps what VedikAI predicted, with the question and the period, and later asks whether it happened. You answer Yes, Partially or No. Over time, you see in your own history how the readings turned out.
Use both together
The two tools complement each other. Imagine, as a hypothetical example, someone torn between staying at their current company or accepting an offer in another city.
- In ChatGPT, this person organizes the decision: what weighs on it, what is still unknown, what the routine would look like on each path.
- In Vedik, they ask VedikAI whether the chart shows a path for a new job and in which months that tends to move.
- With both answers, they decide what to do and when to do it, with their own criteria at the center.
